The Rehab Department at Children's offers clinical education opportunities to students enrolled in professional programs, and high school and college students interested in learning more about a specific discipline.
Clinical Education Opportunities:
Children's is a specialized pediatric facility, thus, students enrolled in an accredited physical therapy program should be completing their last clinical affiliations, and have a genuine interest in pediatrics.
We currently accept level one and two students. Level two students must go through an interview process.
Shadow Student Program:
Encouraging students to pursue pediatric healthcare careers is part of the mission of Children's. We are pleased to offer one day shadow experiences in our department to help students become more familiar with physical, occupational, or speech therapy. This program is available for students in high school and college. Due to the high number of requests, we are not always able to schedule all students interested in observing in our department. You should call at least two weeks prior to the date you would like to shadow in our department. We can be reached at (402)955-3980.
