Feeding and Swallowing Clinic
The Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Disorders Program at Children's , the only one of its kind in the state, is designed specifically for infants, toddlers and adolescents who have a variety of feeding and swallowing difficulties. Services are provided by licensed speech language pathologists and occupational therapists who have specialized training in the treatment of complex issues associated with pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Our therapists will evaluate your child's feeding and swallowing disorder and provide treatment and management of the disorder through a multi-disciplinary approach. Depending on your child's needs, the speech language pathologists and occupational therapists may also consult professionals from a variety of fields, including cardiology, gastroenterology, nutrition, otolaryngology, pediatric surgery, physical therapy, pulmonology and neonatology.
