What if I want to continue pumping my breast milk when I get home?

When pumping, you may keep fresh breast milk in the refrigerator for 48 hours. Label the container of breast milk with the date and time. You may freeze the expressed breast milk in a regular refrigerator freezer for up to three months. Breast milk may be stored in a deep-freezer for up to six months. If freezing breast milk, remember to freeze it immediately after pumping.
