When should I be concerned about my baby's crying?

With time, you will know your baby's signs and know when something is not right. In general, your baby may be getting sick if she is sleeping more and less active; is unable to sleep and fussy; refuses to eat or eats very little; cries inconsolably for one hour or more; breathes faster and appears to be working harder to breathe; coughs frequently; is vomiting or spits up a lot; has frequent and/or watery stools; is acting differently and you are concerned.
