After the visit, the team will sit down to discuss their individualized findings and collaborate to develop a treatment plan that includes the best and most efficient way to treat your child. This may include coordination of surgical and diagnostic procedures, a sleep study, ongoing therapy, referrals to additional specialists, medications and nutritional adjustments. The aerodigestive nurse/and or doctor will contact you with an individualized treatment plan for your child and to coordinate any additional care needs. A comprehensive letter summarizing your child’s clinic visit finding and treatment plan will be sent to your child’s primary care doctor and any other specialists that care for your child.
After your visit, the aerodigestive nurse is available by phone to help with questions, concerns, education and coordination of ongoing care needs.
