The Access Center-Admitting staff at Children's Hospital
is committed to serving you as efficiently as possible and to making your
experience pleasant and problem free. The Access Center is located in the
lobby at Children's Hospital.
Children's Hospital performs a wide variety of
diagnostic tests on an outpatient basis, all of which are designed specifically
for your child.
Some frequently ordered
services include:
- A broad variety of pathology testing
- MRI scans
- CT scans
- Pulmonary function testing
- X-ray testing
- Neurology/ audiology testing
- Cardiology testing
- Diet instruction
- Asthma education
All outpatient diagnostic testing is performed by
physician referral only. Your child's physician maintains control over your
child's care and will receive all test results promptly.
