- Biography:
- John decided to enter the field of pediatric medicine after serving a career as a Lutheran minister. His passion for children has carried him halfway around the world where he has served on mission trips to Jamaica with faculty and medical students from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
"The vast majority of patients had either asthma or fungal infections," said John. "We were able to provide nebulizer treatments, inhalers and oral medications, as well as education about asthma triggers."
When not caring for children either through his pediatric practice or while serving on mission trips, John enjoys volleyball, reading and landscaping.
