Brett Kuhn Ph.D.

Dr. Kuhn is a licensed psychologist and associate professor of pediatrics at the Munroe-Meyer Institute located at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). He is director of the Behavioral Sleep Disorders Clinic at the Children's Hospital & Medical Center Sleep Disorders Center.  He is certified in behavioral sleep medicine by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and is the only professional in Nebraska with this distinction who dedicates his entire practice to children and adolescents with behavioral sleep disorders. 

Dr. Kuhn received his Ph.D. in 1992 in clinical psychology from Oklahoma State University. He has published over 30 professional journal articles and book chapters on children's behavioral health issues including sleep problems, elimination disorders and disruptive behavior disorders.  He served on the committee for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine to create the national standards of practice for children with bedtime resistance and night-time awakenings.
