Help keep your family healthy this cold and flu season by ensuring everyone receives their flu vaccine

The Flu Vaccine

Everyone should receive a flu vaccine. It’s especially important for children ages 6 months and older to get vaccinated, as well as any household contacts and caregivers of infants younger than 6 months. It is especially beneficial for breast-feeding moms to receive the flu vaccine.

The CDC recommends that everyone should receive a flu vaccine by the end of October.

Because influenza viruses change, flu vaccines are updated yearly, which means you and your child must get a flu vaccine each year. Also, children who have never received the vaccine will need two doses the first year.

Scheduled Flu Vaccine Clinics Begin October 4, 2023

This year it’s especially important to get vaccinated as we navigate a flu season combined with COVID-19. *To make it easier to get your child vaccinated, Children’s Physicians offers scheduled flu clinics on evenings and weekends through mid-November. Some offices are also offering drive-thru vaccine clinics. Please review the lists below for locations, dates and times.

All flu clinics will be appointment only. Call your Children’s Physicians office, or log into Children’s Connect via your computer or the mobile app and select “Schedule an Appointment” to directly schedule your child’s visit.
