SEAL (Subcutaneous Endoscopically-assisted Ligation of Inguinal Hernia)

A novel technique that has proven to be safe and effective in the treatment of inguinal (groin area) hernias in children. A camera is inserted through a small incision in the belly, and then sutures are passed – by camera view – through a 2mm incision on the groin to repair the hernia.
