Family & Friends® CPR – Adult, Infant, and Child

Children are not miniature adults. This is true throughout healthcare and medicine, and lifesaving CPR is no exception.

Pediatric CPR was developed with this fact in mind, and this is why Children’s Hospital & Medical Center offers the American Heart Association’s Family & Friends® CPR program.

About Family & Friends® CPR at Children’s

During this program, you will learn how to perform CPR on infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and adults. Participants will practice CPR on infant, child, and adult manikins.

This course is ideal for parents, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone else who is interested in learning basic CPR skills. It is NOT intended for people who need a CPR course completion care as part of a job requirement. This course does NOT meet the requirements for a daycare or foster care provider license.
