As we monitor the post-COVID-19 peak environment, we continue to strive to keep patient families safe by designating our office hours for well-check and sick-visit appointments. Children’s Physicians, Council Bluffs is designated for well-check appointments and sick visits and is now open until 8:30 p.m. every day. See office hours below. Please note, the capability to schedule well-check appointments for your child through Children’s Connect is available.

Sick Visits

Should you need to schedule a sick visit outside of Children’s Physicians, Council Bluffs’ available sick-visit hours, the following Children’s Physicians locations are designated for sick visits only:

To schedule an appointment for your child, please call your regular Children’s Physicians office to make the appointment.

Screening Procedures

Children’s Physicians will continue to screen individuals before entering our offices. Our efforts are focused on preventing sick patients and family members from entering into a well-check location, and individuals who are not sick from entering into a sick-visit location.

In addition, Children’s Physicians now requires every patient and their parent/guardian to wear a face mask while inside any of our Children’s Physicians’ offices. Families are welcome to bring their own cloth masks or non-health care grade masks from home. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to follow recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

All appointments should be limited to the patient, accompanied by one adult. We realize there may be necessary exceptions.

If you have a scheduled well-check appointment and a member of your household is sick, please reschedule.
