Non-Urgent Well-Check Visits Suspended Starting March 23
In our continued efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep patient families safe, Children’s Physicians will be suspending all non-urgent well-check visits until July 1, 2020. This change goes into effect on Monday, March 23.
Urgent well-checks will continue to occur; however, these visits will only be scheduled during morning hours and will end by noon. The following urgent well-checks will continue to be scheduled:
- Newborn well-checks
- Well-checks for patients ages 18 months and younger
- Kindergarten and 7th Grade school physicals

Starting Saturday, March 21, Children’s Urgent Care at Dundee and Val Verde will be closed; Urgent Care at West Village Pointe will be open. This is a temporary change due to the current health care climate, and we will keep you posted when we return to normal Urgent Care operations. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your flexibility in this challenging time.
