Children’s to Offer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics to Protect Patients Ages 12 and Up

Children’s Physicians is leading the way to help protect teens against COVID-19. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized the two-dose Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use in adolescents 12 to 15 years old. Children’s Physicians, as well as the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics, recommends vaccination for this age group, and will start vaccinating children age 12 and up beginning May 19 for any Children’s Hospital & Medical Center or Children’s Physicians patients.

To schedule a vaccination appointment, call your Children’s Physicians pediatrician’s office or 402-955-SHOT from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an appointment.

Back-to-School 2021 & Your Students’ Health

Children’s strongly recommends that all students and staff members mask up in school settings this fall. We also recommend that eligible individuals ages 12 and up get vaccinated against COVID-19.
