Notice: At Children’s, we are continuously monitoring and evaluating strategies and processes that allow for the safest and highest quality care of children at our facilities. Children’s testing and treatment of COVID-19 continues to closely follow CDC guidelines. We are testing all asymptomatic and symptomatic children admitted to the hospital, as well as all surgical and procedural patients. Due to current local and national testing supply chains and turnaround times, for the time being, outpatient COVID-19 testing is suspended at Children’s Urgent Care, Children’s Physicians, outpatient Specialty Pediatric Center and Emergency Department locations. If you would like to have your child tested, and they are not included within our current testing capacities, we encourage you to visit TestNebraska.com to find a testing location near you.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your flexibility as we continue to keep our patients, families and staff safe.

Don’t delay your child’s vaccines or well-checks, or ignore concerns about your child’s health. We have implemented strict safety measures to keep your family – and our employees – safe and healthy. We’re even offering telehealth appointments for some visits.
We’re currently scheduling well-check appointments for all ages, as well as sick visits and school and sports physicals, so call your Children’s Physicians office today, or click here to request a virtual visit.
Children’s is safe for all your child’s health needs, including Urgent Care and Emergency care. We are following all recommended steps to keep patients and families safe, so don’t avoid bringing your child in for illness, injury or mental health issues.
Urgent care clinics are walk-in acute care centers that treat illnesses and injuries that need immediate care, but are not serious enough to warrant a trip to the emergency department. Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle more serious issues. If your child is having a medical emergency, call 911.
Children’s Omaha has the largest group of specialty pediatric physicians in Nebraska. Our experts practice a wide variety of specialties, such as allergy, behavioral health, cancer, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, and pulmonology. They also provide complex care for children with multiple special health needs. Many of our outpatient clinics are offering virtual visits to help keep families safe.
